With the End of Cons super sale underway, we're hunkering down for that long winter's nap. Thanks to all the folks who jumped into the Old Skool fray this year! Dexcon NJ has come and gone! The con was an unbelievable success with three WEGS tables in full swing! We've hit a new record for the most number of players WEGS-ing it at the same time! We're also hard at work getting the next WEGS 101 book out the door. Titled "Dice Rules!", this new book will give players and Kreators even more power at the game table! Check back for release date details!

The summer convention season is about to begin! You'll be able to find the Wegshogs at Origins in Columbus, Ohio at the end of the month! Come visit the GameWick Games booth and jump into a demo! As promised, we will have Kreator Kits back in stock (only available at the booth, not online).

We're ramping up for our 2009 convention schedule; the first one will in February, Dreamation (Morristown, NJ). Also, there's rumor that our first pdf adventure Hobgobble's Eve will be posted on the WEGS home page later this month! Check back soon for updates!

One Con To Go!
MACE, the final con of our mighty, mighty 2008 WEGS tour is right around the corner; after this we'll be running some demos and games at local NJ stores. Check back mid-November for those details!

The Finish Line!
In the span of a month the Wegshogs will conclude their con-hopping for 2008; from Con on the Cob at the start of October to the Mid-Atlantic Convention Expo (MACE) in early November, we're wrapping up the WEGS travels for this year. If you want to get your hands on some WEGS, do it soon 'cause supplies are running low. A limited number of the first printing are still in stock, and we won't be going to press again until next year!

The details of our fall schedule will be posted shortly. We'll be hitting Con on the Cob (Akron, OH), UberCon (NJ) and MACE ( High Point, NC). GameWick will also be doing demos in local stores. Details coming!

Gen Con!
The GameWick Games summer con-hopping ends at Booth 1726 at Gen Con mid-August. We'll be there peddling our WEGS 101 by day and running scheduled events by night (most of which are sold out). El Willy and the Wegshogs will be running demos at the booth, so stop by and find out what this WEGS stuff is all about! See ya in Indy!

Two Cons This Month!
El Willy and the Wegshogs will be at two conventions this month: Dexcon, NJ and Historicon, PA. We've posted the event schedule on our Conventions page. The Wegs-o-rama-con has been pushed off to the fall/winter; it's just too crazy right now to plan it in the middle of convention season... What were we thinking?!? We're still full steam ahead on the Pirates of Penzantium release for the end of summer! Check back for updates! Ark! Ark! Ark!

A New Website!
Thanks to Rusti over at greenermountain, our old chunky website was given a facelift! Poke around a bit and check the new site out. June ends with Origins, and the GameWick Games crew will be there at Booth 431 peddling our wegs. The booth is on Gary Gygax Avenue in the convention hall! Check back toward month's end for updates on the July Wegs-o-rama-con and other summer con details (like the invite-only game for our friends coming to GenCon). Details coming soon!

Four Star Review!
Let’s start with the big news - WEGS was reviewed on The Gaming Report (see Quick Links on right) - four stars, baby! This month we're working hard on getting our next product Pirates of Penzantium ready for its summer release. Speaking of summer, we can't wait for the con season to begin! We have a booth at Origins. Most of our GenCon events are on their way to selling out. Gonna be a con crazy summer!

Full Steam Ahead!
Last month was a busy one as we planned out our 2008 WEGS summer convention schedule: Origins, Historicon, GenCon and Dexcon. We will be updating our summer con info soon, too! This month we will be hitting Icon, MEPA, Ubercon and the Gama Trade Show (Bally's, Las Vegas)! Some exciting details on the Wegzoramacon will be posted soon. Don't forget, the WEGS 101 Skill Deck is now available via our store!

Cold Wars & Wittcon
March comes in like a lion for the Wegshogs as they hop from one con to the next. We begin at Cold Wars, then on to Wittcon. We'll be updating mid-month with more news, so be sure to check back. (There was a lot of news in February, check out below!)

Hot off the press - the WEGS 101 Skill Deck! Special combo price when you purchase it with WEGS 101 online. We've updated some of our convention details: Cold Wars (PA), WittCon (OH) and Origins (OH). Table Top Gamers have graciously given WEGS a forum of its very own. El Willy posts there weekly with random thoughts and game advice (and he needs some company to join him). Check it out if you need tips on running your home games. Last, but not least, we'll be running demos at Time Warp Comic and Games this month. If you're in the area, come check it out! WEGS is on sale at Time Warp, too!

The Last Con
The WEGS 2007 tour officially concluded at MACE (NC). For the next six weeks, me and the Wegshogs are hunkering down and coming up with our 2008 plans. Stay tuned for updates! On a disappointing note, we will not be holding a Wegz-o-rama-con in December. We hope to kick off the new year with this con instead. WEGS will continue demo-ing in local NJ hobby stores, too.

WEGS is officially in stores! Well... one store. Dark Tower Games in Denville, NJ. In-store demos will be held there every Weds. night until December. That's right - Wednesday is WEGSday at the Dark Tower! So, if you're from NJ and are itchin' to play, come on down! Plus don't forget about the upcoming cons - Ubercon NJ and MACE!

Part 2 - GENCON!
WEGS 101 Old Skool will be sold at two booth locations at GenCon: GPA-Game Publishers Association (Booth 400/401) and Crazy Egors (Booth 2719). A limited number of copies will be available. Please visit either of these booths and tell them you're looking for WEGS! For those of you who won't be attending GenCon, visit us toward the end of this month for info on how to get your copy of WEGS 101!

Con Tasks!
Lots of behind-the-scenes fun consumed the month of April... El Willy spent most of this time submitting events to the various summer cons. Origins, GenCon, Historicon. It's an exciting process - but very time consuming. Anyhow, that's all done now (pretty much). It's back to layout/design/art for the upcoming releases.
